Concrete Bridge Pilings

In the construction of piling for your bridge project, the use of wire for spirals or ties can save you time and money. In all types of concrete piles, Precast Reinforced Piles, Precast Prestressed Piles, or Cast-In-Place Piles; the use of wire for spirals has proven to be an economical solution.

Specifications for the design of certain types of piling call out the size of the wire and the pitch required in different areas of the pile. In cases where spiral reinforcement with an area of not less than No. 3 bars are called for, you should consider the equivalent area of a W-20 wire.
