Building Mesh

Ivy Steel & Wire produces a comprehensive line of standard sizes and styles in rolls and sheets.  Properly placed on concrete slab on grade to hold the concrete together after cracking.  It is an important ingredient in a successful floor slab.  The wide range of wire sizes and spacings available make it possible to furnish almost the exact cross-sectional areas of steel required to reinforce precast products, tilt-up walls and building floors.

Standard Building Mesh is sold in rolls and flat sheets which are easy to transport and store.  Wire sizes range from W1.4 (dia. 0.135) to W5.4 (dia. 0.263).  Roll dimensions very from market to market but are generally sold in 5ft., 6ft., or 7ft. widths.  Roll lengths are normally 150’ to 200’ long.  Flat sheets can provide significant savings in placing labor.  Sheets are commonly 5 to 8 feet wide and 10 to 20 feet long.  Other sizes are available upon request.  Ivy Steel & Wire also supports a comprehensive non-stock special order program.

Ivy Steel & Wire maintains a rigid inspection and quality control program to assure that your mesh is always of the highest quality and conforms to ASTM A-82, ASTM A-185, and for deformed wire and mesh ASTM A-496, and ASTM A-497.
