Lathing Products

Ivy Steel & Wire's premier lathing product, Steeltex™, is a combination of wire mesh and a special waterproofing backing.  Tri-directional glass reinforcing fibers are embedded in the paper for additional strength.  The Steeltex form is extremely flexible and is supplied in rolls.  Use in swimming pool construction has become common by quality builders, who like the combination of strength and flexibility that Steeltex provides as a form for gunite buildup.  It is available in two sizes.

Steeltex Masonry Veneer and Stucco Lath (Style 49 – 16) has a double ply laminated waterproof backing with a 2” x 2” – 16 ga. galvanized electrically welded mesh.  It is supplied in rolls 49” wide x 110’ 6” long, for a total area of 450 square feet.

Steeltex Floor Lath (Style 48 – 12) has a sturdy cord reinforced waterproof backing with 3” x 4” – 12 ga. galvanized electrically welded mesh.  It is supplied in rolls 48” wide x 125’ long for a total area of 500 square feet.
