Concrete Noise Barriers

The selection of Precast Concrete for Sound Wall Construction is based on speed of construction, aesthetics, and overall economy. The use of Welded Wire Reinforcement to reinforce the concrete panel, will save you money by reducing the amount of steel required and cut construction costs with faster steel placement.

A great advantage in using WWR is the ability to design the mesh specifically for the project. The mesh can be ordered with variable spacing, large wire sizes and bent to the required shape. When a large sheet of Welded Wire Reinforcement is designed to reinforce an entire panel, construction time is cut to a minimum. Thousands of lineal feet of Sound Wall Panels are generally required on a project and time of construction becomes a major factor in selecting the wall material.

Bent sheet of Welded Wire Reinforcement enable the precaster to economically reinforce panels of various sizes and shapes. The mesh can be bent at the precast plant or at the mesh producers. Shipping costs are an important factor to consider in determining where the mesh will be bent.
